Two Antique 1891 Harpers Penmanship School Copy Books  by  H.W. Shaylor  New York, Cincinnati, Chicago.   These two Antique School copy books for cursive writing belonged to a 10 year girl in Bath, New Hampshire, so therefore can be accurately dated to 1891.  Her name is hand written on the front covers.  The first book is fully completed / filled out.  Addresses writing posture/ positions and writing movement exercises. The second book is competed halfway.  Both pages in the books are tight with original (albeit a bit rusted) staples. Covers and pages have no rips , tears.  Rubbing marks, small ink stains as expected for this age / type of book.
