    Description

    Very nice prepration and amazing fossilization of the caramel calcite shell! One of the earliest representative of Ptychopyginae trilobites.
    Here is a very rare trilobite species
    Paraptychopyge plautini (Schmidt, 1904)
    The genus is resemble Ptychopyge but it's easy to determine the different shape of the cephalon and  the
    pigidium with the different outline having obtuse , “dualize” posterior end.
    The specimen was found in the Middle Ordovician (Darriwilian) , Volkhov stage deposits of
    Putilovo quarry near St Petersburg, Russia.
    Size of the trilobite is 6cm long, reconstruction is 2-3%, shipping is for free worldwide!
